Our short courses on FutureLearn are free for anyone to sign up to. The courses are three or four weeks long and there are a range of topics, from English for the Workplace to IELTS preparation.

Study at your own pace and communicate with other learners from all over the world. Current price is ETB for 60 hour course including a course book. Class Cancellations Occasionally, the British Council may have to cancel a class before it. Choose to take a course online or book on a face-to-face course taking place near you.

If there’s a group of you that want to do the same one, you can ask to have a trainer visit your school. Here’s a quick overview of the levels we deliver our courses at: Introductory: approx two-three contact hours.

Primary Plus and Secondary Plus are available in British Council teaching centres and our partner schools in many major cities around the world. Check our list of locations. Beginner A1. The level check is free if you book it online in advance. Step 2 - Attend your level check. Once you have booked a level check, you will receive an email with the booking details.
